| Summary from the Ontario Heritage Foundation's website Built in 1823 by James Boulton, one of the first lawyers to set up practice in Perth, the Summit House reflects the fashionable Adamesque style, which had developed in England in the 18th century. An unusual feature of the house is the use of brick, which had not yet become a popular building material.
