Summary from the Ontario Heritage Foundation's website
Constructed in 1834 on land originally patented by Joseph Brant, St. Luke's was served by itinerant Anglican missionaries for four years before the arrival of the Reverend Thomas Greene. The extensive landscaping carried out during Greene's tenure is still in evidence, but the church itself has been altered and rebuilt beyond recognition.
